Easter at East Side was an amazing day of worship. Thank you to all those who invited friends and family to join us to celebrate Resurrection Sunday. Thank you to those who served in children’s ministry and on welcome teams and environmental teams and the worship team. Thank you to our technicians and media teams who made the celebration available to our online community. Thank you to everyone who made the effort to welcome those around you with the grace and love of Jesus. It was a joy to worship with you.

 

So what’s next? What do we do with the Easter story? How does Jesus’ resurrection impact the way that we live our lives? For the next few Sundays we are going to focus on finding answers to those questions. The Bible is full of the stories of people trying to figure out what to do after encountering God. Here at East Side we are going to do a deep dive (pun intended) into the life of Jonah. There is much to learn from someone who was a reluctant messenger for God. I hope you will join us.
